Specialised department Technical Experts

The LAVES specialised department Technical Experts is located in Oldenburg and Hannover. There are currently four experts operating in this division. The focus of their duties can be found in the following areas:

• Food monitoring
• Animal Welfare
• Prevention of epizootic diseases

In the above mentioned areas, the division lends support to the local veterinarian and food monitoring authorities in their duties and in the area of operational consulting. To ensure lasting consumer protection, the evaluation of technical procedures is an essential part of official inspection.

Comprehensive knowledge in the field of process engineering, food technology, machine construction and electrical engineering is present.
